We are in the Year of the Snake, during which our souls are asked to let go of our identities that have served us our entire lives. In truth, we are being asked to shed old skins – stories, roles, patterns – so that something new can take form. However, those old identities may not be released immediately, and you may question where you will go next. Although this process may be "crazy" making, it creates space for something more honest and fulfilling to take its place. Therefore, you might feel uncertain, confused, and downright exhausted. But you don’t have to see precisely what’s next to move forward. You do need to claim your space and intention to change. So, today, set your intentions to create some time to get honest with yourself about what’s not working and act on what your soul is asking for. You are being called to put yourself first - not as an act of selfishness but as a commitment to your growth. Today, begin to honor you and your energy. Today, say no when something drains you and yes when something lights you up. Today, consciously honor the parts of you that are ready for more and ready to change. This kind of change is not for the faint hearted. Instead, it requires clarity, strength, and resilience, especially when so much is changing, inside and out. Today, let go of what and who you've been hanging onto for safety, security, and familiarity. If you do not make the changes yourself, the Universe will do it for you, which is always much more painful. So today, choose to use the energies to let go and to allow the new to enter your life.

Just for today, I am willing to let go. And so it is.
